Loose Lips Sink Ship - I

Once more back with the American English idiom ‘Loose Lips Sink Ship‘ meaning "beware of unguarded talk" and as mentioned before was an American propaganda poster of WWII.  Last year, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was the clear winner and way ahead from others, let us see who is the lucky person for 2012-2013. This year there are many contenders, because of aftermath effects of the horrific incident in Delhi and thereafter turns of events. Some of the comments  exposed the intelligence of our politicians. They kept commenting as they were in a competition for the most obtuse person of the year. One thing is sure that every worthless politicians have sort of advice for the women, as women are sort of object and belongs to their paternal property. Many of those politicians are so camera friendly that whenever they see one they shoot their worthless motor mouth. Listing some of the award wining comments random order. List is quite bigger than the last year and decided to divide it in two parts. The parts are divided as pre and post Delhi incident. The  list contains some very distinguish(?) person too.

Anna Hazare

Anna Hazare said to a group of journalists at Ralegan Siddhi when he learned about the attack on Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar “Ek hi maara?” The comment was followed by a big laugh among the audience but Anna’s attitude of being sympathetic to the attacker who assaulted the Union minister brought huge criticisms on him.
Prashant Bhushan

Former ‘India against Corruption’ member and current AAP member Prashant Bhushan calling Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as 'Shikhandi' and as usual Bhushan denied the statement later.

Narendra Modi

Like Mamata Banerjee he too is very list friendly. During a rally in Himachal Pradesh Monday, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said "There was a Congress leader who was a minister in Parliament. He was accused of amassing wealth from cricket. He had said in Parliament that he is not connected to the Rs 50 crore in the lady's name. Have you ever heard of Rs 50 crore girlfriend?".

Modi was referring to a controversy relating to a cricket franchise involving Sunanda Pushkar, who was Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor’s girlfriend then.

Mamata Banerjee & Co

No one in the world have power to keep Mamata Banerjee out of this list, she is tailor made and always comes up with something that other to find a place. This time it was about horrific incident when a woman raped on gunpoint in a moving car. She had termed the Park Street rape case a "sajano galpo (concocted story)".

Its seems that she is in good company and well supported by her own party (partly) members.

Transport minister Madan Mitra had questioned why a mother had to go to a night club as there is a special criteria for peoples who preferred to visit a night club.

Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar hit out at the Park Street rape victim and questioned about her rape complaint. She also, attempted at character assassination as she dubbed the case a misunderstanding between a "woman and her client". "They (the Park Street rape and Delhi gang rape) are totally different. The incident at Park Street was not a rape at all. It was a misunderstanding between two parties involved in professional dealing between the woman and her client."

Shahrukh Khan (You Can so He Can)

Shahrukh Khan, had said in an article that he sometimes becomes the inadvertent object of political leaders who chose to make him a symbol of all they think was wrong and unpatriotic about Muslims in India.

He should realize that an average person like him, whatever he achieved being and Indian. If he still not satisfied he can try his luck somewhere else and it seems he is having many well wisher and sympathizer elsewhere.

Rehman Malik's (Over Boundary)

Rehman Malik’s IQ always was in questioned. Rehman Malik's controversial statement, asking India to ensure security cover to the actor.

During his visit to India, Malik, had said nobody wants to see the recurrence of incidents like Mumbai blasts, Samjhauta blasts or Babri Masjid issue. Later, however, he denied comparing the demolition of the shrine to the Mumbai attacks, adding that he had been "misunderstood".

Nitin Gadkari

When BJP finally got rid of Nitin Gadkari, when he was quietly dismissed as the  BJP  president, he was a free man and came up with the following ridiculous statements.

Mard hoon, dekh loonga. I-T department yad rakhe, BJP ki Sarkar ayegi tab kahan jaoge?” Gadkari is reported to have said to his supporters after returning to his home town of Nagpur.  He was referring to I-T officials and CBI.
